Fragramatics and Kleen-Rite – A Past and Future Together
Kleen-Rite has been a Fragramatics customer for over 30 years, and recognizes the consistent quality delivered over those decades. We will focus on continuing that quality while making a significant investment in inventory and manufacturing efficiency. The result will be shorter, more reliable lead times, and ultimately a better customer experience. Kleen-Rite will eventually offer the full line of Fragramatics fragrance and vacuum units. Plus, we’ll continue to carry official repair parts and accessories for them.

We have many customers with legacy products from Fragramatics, and it’s an important line for us,” said Keith Lutz, Kleen-Rite Vice President. He added, “Not only does the acquisition give us the ability to provide product and continuity to that line, it also provides an opportunity to help the self-serve segment by making sure the product continues to be available. Self-serve is often the forgotten part of the industry. We want to position ourselves to champion the self-serve segment.”
Brief Fragramatics History
Larry Ingram started Fragramatics in 1978 when looking for a better way to increase income at his own car washes. Starting with the original novel concept of a pedestal mounted fragrance dispenser, they now sell a robust variety of different fragrance machines, air machines, vacuum islands, and combination vacuums. They build and ship all machines from their facility in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Passing the Reins
After many years building the esteemed brand, Ingram will now pass over operational control to Kleen-Rite. Honoring the brand’s legacy and maintaining the company’s family atmosphere will be a top priority, and all current employees will be retained. Car wash owners and operators can look forward to many more years buying Fragramatics products that hold to the highest quality standards – now enhanced with improved reliability of delivery.
