The KR Stock app serves as a mobile companion to our website, allowing users to manage and order supplies anytime, anywhere. Sharing a login to an e-commerce site is effectively the same as giving people access to your company credit card. Without proper controls, this level of access could expose your business to serious financial vulnerabilities. This update added a new (editor)permission for each user. Editor permission will allow users to add items to the cart for their designated location, but they will NOT be allowed to check out. The order MUST be approved by a manager who will receive notifications with the order request. The manager can then review the order and complete checkout in the KR Stock app. With KR Stock, managing orders has never been faster, easier, or more secure!
How do I assign editor permission to a user?
Set Up Team Access
- Open the KR Stock app.
- Navigate to the Manage Team screen.
- Select Invite User.
- Assign the new user as an Editor to allow them to add items to the cart but restrict ordering access.
Invite Team Member
- The invited team member will receive an email with a link to download KR Stock for Android or iOS.
- Once installed, they can start preparing orders immediately.
Prepare Orders
- Team members navigate to the shopping cart.
- Choose the appropriate location for the supplies.
- Press the Request Purchase button.
Send Order Request
- A window will appear for selecting a manager to approve the purchase.
- After choosing a manager, press Send.
Manager Approval
- The manager will receive a push notification and an email with the order request.
- The manager can review and complete the order directly in the app.
