Free Car Wash for American Veterans this November 11th, 2015

Grace for Vets

An organization started in Pennsylvania by a car wash operator named Mike Mountz, attempts to honor American veterans every year by giving free car washes to any military veteran that shows up at one of the participating car washes around the country.

The program has grown to three other countries besides the United States: Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.

The FREE car wash is available only on November 11th—rain or shine. The program is focused on honoring veterans and service personnel. In order to receive a FREE car wash, all veterans have to do is let the car wash attendants know that they are a veteran or in the armed forces. No proof of veteran or personnel status is required. This may lead to some abuse, but the organization believes that the program must be based on one of the guiding principles for a veteran, honor.

For those wanting to participate in the program, you can find the Grace for Vets Website: Here!
